Composition:

Each ml solution contains:              

280.0 mg calcium gluconate          

90.0 mg magnesium hypophosphite

46.0 mg glucose

20.0 mg acetylmethionine

57.5 mg boric acid

0.4 mg benzoic acid

4.0 mg choline chloride

1.0 mg phenol                                    

                              

Indications:

Hypocalcaemia of the milch cow, vitular syndrom; grass and transport tetany. Nervous syndrom of acetosis, digestive paraplegics, hepatic dystrophy, toxical or parasitic hepatitis of the milch cow. General: prevention and treatment of hypocalcaemia, hypomagnesia and/or hypophosphataemia in cattle, horse, sheep, goats and dogs.

 

Dosage and administration:

Parenteral, as subcutaneous, intramuscular or slow intravenous injection. When s.c. or i.m., large quantities should be administered at several injection-sites.

The general dose is 50 ml per 100 kg of bodyweight.

Cattle and horses:               250 - 500 ml.

Sheep / goats:                      15 - 50 ml.

Dog:                                       10 - 20 ml

In severe cases repeat dosage after 6-8 hours. When intravenous use, inject slowly under cardiorespiratory control; the vial must be previously lukewarmed.

 

Withdrawal time:

None.

 

Storage:              

Store cool and protected from light.
